My duckling keeps getting stuck on his back!
I have them in a whole back room with their heat lamp On one end and then we have linoleum floor with a tarp over it and then the wood shavings. Luckily they can go out soon hopefully as it’s super warm here now and I have a coop for them with a heat mat. -

I think what’s going on is it’s too slippery. But I’m just wondering why they can’t flip back over lol. -

I go into the room and twice now there’s been a duckling on its back freaking out and flailing like a turtle that can’t flip back over. I have to help them. Is this really abnormal?
