Have you tried a brace type thing on its foot? It would probably only have to stay on 3-4 days and it would greatly help the chick. It would flatten the foot out and straighten it up.

Looks like a gold-laced something. Can you get a pic more to the side so I can see wing feathers and maybe a closer up pic straight on of its face so I can see its comb better?

I didn't order a surprise box, just Spitzhaubens. I live in VA as far as you can get (across the Chesapeake Bay). My chicks were shipped on Mon and got here Tues!!!! I ordered 15 and got 16 very healthy chicks with no DOAs. Of course, DOA's are generally the fault of USPS throwing the boxes...
