Wow that's pretty good, back when I ordered my chicks from cackle I wanted to get this surprise assortment, but I didn't because I always thought they would just ship you all the unordered males. I'm glad I'm wrong and that they are not doing that. Cackle does know how to retain their customers.

For all of you who have gotten this assortment in the past, How has the ratio between male and female has been?

You should get the Happy Cackle Special, because even tho you'll know what kind of birds you will get, you'll still get to be surprised at what breeds you will get. Plus if you really want geese, ducks or turkeys this is the way you are warrantied to get them, other wise you might not get all or...

Agree, chick days are here I bet their business is at full swing and they probably just wanna warranty you will get a better selection.
