Have a look on YouTube for videos of people candling their duck eggs on day 10. You'll see how they embryo appears and disappears and I remember my Muscovy doing that. It's pretty much impossible to take a candling photo at that stage because they disappear. :lol:
It sounds like a duck egg if it's day 10 and the embryo is moving away from the light, and small enough to not be obvious. A chicken egg you would definitely see the embryo at this stage.
As long as you can see veining it's still alive and growing.
