I definitely assumed at first that either my Mallard or runner decided to take over my Rouen's nest, but when I saw the Rouen sitting on the egg I was confused to say the least😅 I already have a rare colored duck and several of a rare breed of duck so I guess why not a green egg laying Rouen?😂

Oh yes most definitely! All of my others hens lay beautiful green/blue eggs, but egg color is normally more breed specific like with chickens. I've always heard Rouen's eggs were white and from what I've researched they aren't known for green colored eggs which is what has me a little confused🤔
So far with all of my ducks I have yet to receive a white egg😂 That's very interesting though and I guess I will find out in a month or two if the green eggs are just beginners glitch or a Rouen anomaly 🤔
