Help needed fast! Hen or roo?

I always love seeing the outcome on the hen or roo posts and so few people go back to confirm! 🙂

Also, she has black skin in some places and blue ears, so I agree that she’s probably a silkie mix!

Help needed fast! Hen or roo?

Hi all! I wanted to post an update. Help needed fast! Hen or roo?

Hi! I mentioned the voice only to help folks understand the age parameter since the chicken was found a stray - I have no clue how old it is, but it's less of a high-pitched peep that a baby chick makes. It also could be a bantam, but, again, no clue!

Help needed fast! Hen or roo?

I am thinking of adopting this young chicken that was found as a stray and is at the shelter. It is young but it’s voice is starting to change and get a little deeper. I already have hens, and I cannot have a Roo. I have two days to decide! Help! Hen or Roo?
