The coconut oil and honey were mentioned for their antibacterial properties. Other oils, like baby oil, Vaseline, and olive oil should not be used because they contain zero antibacterial properties and would almost certainly promote the growth of any bacteria in/on the wound.

I think I would leave him alone until you can go to the store and get supplies to treat it.

Is a vet an option? If so, take the duck to the vet first thing in the morning. If not an option, can you go to Tractor Supply when they open in the morning?
