Well, I got a mixed breed hen running around with foot feathers, and whenever she molts, she is not comfortable walking while all those floofs grow back, all my Orpies have no problem walking at any time 😇

What I don’t like about the Cochins is the feathers on their feet, they collect a lot of dirt, and then that goes on the eggs, and when they moult, it isn’t very pleasant for them either when the new feathers are sticking out of their feet :(
