    The thing with California that I haven't noticed in other states is that gas prices vary wildly. One corner at at intersection can be 30 cents more because it's convenient. A couple miles down the road from here it's 5.99 so it really might be worth your time to drive out of the way.

    Natto is the only fermented food that I've tried but don't like. Tofu for dinner is fine. Silken tofu in a smoothie is great.

    Funny I did that today too but I uncovered an ants nest. At least I had pavers under my bin so nothing bigger than a worm could burrow in.
