I have both Marek's vaccinated birds, and unvaccinated, and the leg bands show that too. Right leg for unvaccinated, left leg for vaccinated. With the color coding for year of hatch, and numbered bands, it works well for my flock. Mary

I'm now using zip ties rather than the plastic leg bands, because they cost less and stay on better. Here we use a different color for every year, and buy the numbered zip ties from a poultry supply company. 2020 is dark purple, although black was my other choice. Fitting colors for the past...
