I do have make quail which means I do get fertile eggs and it's still tricky telling which quail eggs are fertile and which are not. The best way to tell is to stick them in the incubator. ;)

Do you have an incubator? I find that the bullseye is really tricky and I don't trust it. I have zero male chickens and every now and then I see faker bullseyes.
