So what are you saying then? The vet just cut one off of another live chicken? One died at the exact right time to harvest another crop?

None of us have ever heard of a crop transplant, or a vet that would slaughter another chicken to acquire it's crop. Please post lots of photos for us!

If saving this chicken is the route you want to go, I highly advise taking her to a vet. One that sees birds would be best.
