    Thank you, I'm really sad about the gizzard impaction. Unfortunately I have another hen having similar poop as the other and I'm terrified. She's still lively and happy but I can tell she isn't 100%. What can I do to help her?

    Thank you, I always have granite grit and oyster shell in different bowls for them to eat when they need it. I am thinking about seeing if I could get a mareks test done with a blood sample. It's been a difficult time :(

    Thanks, I do think that was her primary source of deterioration, the impacted gizzard just really wasn't what I was expecting. Could that have been caused by IBV?

    Her crop was never full but she would stand in the food all day and eat. I assume that overall it definitely was her kidneys, I am just really thrown off by the impacted gizzard.
