So, time for an update. This evening, we left the little chick inside the chicken run when we were leaving for church. We came back, and to our surprise, he was sleeping with the little flock of 6 chicks! He is much smaller, but I guess they let him be with them since he was cuddling right in...

Good idea. But I don't have space for even RAISING any extra birds lol so I wouldn't be able to raise then sell.

I was trying to do that, but TSC only lets a minimum of 6 chicks, but I don't need 6 more. I posted an ad on craigslist, though, looking for 1 or 2 more friends around his age/size.
