Don’t worry, I’m treating the leg mites with a foot spray for chickens, and also with baths which also should clean her vent up. She wasn’t in the prettiest state when we got her, and believe it or not those legs are better then they were!

Thanks for the conformation :) I was assuming that at this point since I couldn’t find anything that matches the criteria. I thought Selma was a blue copper Maran at first glance due to copper on her throat.
I got my first flock in June, five hens and five young brahmas from a friend. He got the hens originally as hatching eggs, and is not sure what breed they are either. Can anyone help?Patty - lays surprisingly large, blue eggs for such a small, skittish hen.
