    The torch was a game changer for me. Treated the coop late spring when i first saw mites this year and they haven't been back. This is the first year we got rid of them so fast, usually it is a couple months of fighting.

    Hypoclorous acid (active ingredient in Vetricyn) is amazing on wounds. If you can get some it is great for disinfecting other stuff too. After buying vetricyn a couple of times i found that i could buy it cheaper as a cleaner, and with less ingredients. Just pay attention to the concentration.

    It has been so smoky her lately that I haven't been able to spend much time outside and have been terrible about taking photos when i am. I think Rosie is molting some, but nothing compared to my other two. Brenna's head and neck are all quills.
