Hypoclorous acid (active ingredient in Vetricyn) is amazing on wounds. If you can get some it is great for disinfecting other stuff too.
After buying vetricyn a couple of times i found that i could buy it cheaper as a cleaner, and with less ingredients. Just pay attention to the concentration.

We have also been dry since then. The closest fire, causing most the smoke here, is about an hour from me. The ceder creek fire has been burning since aug, huge fire (125,000+ acres in rough terrain. Sadly i know at least one of my favorite camping spots was an early loss.
