I didn't bring up buckets until after you started talking about them. I'm just afraid of messing up. Part of the reason I had the plan of using something that already has holes.

Yep, I know. I was planning on using the cup system in summer. I'm also a Michigander. I have the usual waterer design we can use for winters. Just the standard waterers with screw off bottoms.

Also, why buy a bucket, if I have some laying around?

I don't think I'd need to make the holes larger. They look large enough to fit the cups.

I've never used a drill. I do have excess cat litter buckets, they're 5 gallons.

TSC only have the bucket type that hangs with nipples at the very bottom. They do also have the same waterer I want to get, but slightly cheaper.

We have a Walmart, TSC, & a Hardware store, but not everything is exactly cheap anymore where I live. But I'll figure something out. I'll give TSCs bucket waterers another look, & compare price, but they use nipples.

It'll have too set on something. I have an old nesting box I'm gonna repurpose into a stand for it. My dad is currently using every cinderblock we have for the end of the wood pile.

Yes, I know what drinker cups look like. I was wondering if anyone replaced nipples of this particular waterer with the cups.

Was curious if anyone has done so, thinking about changing to this type.
