I'm not experienced at this at ALL, but they both look like pullets to me. Are you sure that they are only 9 weeks old? Maybe they are older....that might explain the very red combs? Their stature just looks henish to me. But again, I'm new to chickens and all 9 of mine are probably Roos...- geetabean
