    NYC is enough to age anyone beyond their years. Until the pandemic the Princess would go in every month or so to see a Broadway show. I do not go.

    Mine hasn't been a 'coming out story'. It just sort of snuck up on me, and I went, "Oh, crap!" I've recently noticed that feed bags are becoming much heavier.

    For me to fight the aging process I have to : Get out of my head. Get up and get busy. Avoid abrasive people. Eat/cook well. Have and work towards reachable goals. Life is about giggles - for me and for others.

    The closest is about 45 minutes away. Our local did a great business with excellent service. I have no idea why they closed. Once things opened up here business rebounded, and then they closed. We ran into the old manager, and she had no idea why the local had closed. :idunno

    I like to say that I can still do everything that I once could. It just takes longer and generally hurts more. My shoulders are shot, but I can still run - that's something. My biggest problem with the aging process is that so many of my friends have died.

    Pain is your friend. It reminds you that you are still alive. Do not look in the mirror unless absolutely necessary.

    :idunno When does it start? Guess I'm not there yet. Mom lived to be 97, and one of her many sayings was, "There's no sin in getting old, but acting old is a sin."
