I weighed out 10 lb batches and seasoned them.
Then put that meat in a bucket for my daughter to grind.
After it was ground, Diego would load the sausage stuffer and make links, then I would fill the bags, vacuum seal them, and bring them down to the freezer.
I just want to brag on my oldest for a minute. She's seven, and likes to help us with stuff around the Homestead. When we made sausage yesterday, she was the one who ground every single bit of it. The whole process took several hours and she never got bored or tired.
