Not if you have only one death. Ai is so contagious that other chickens will get sick or die within a few days.
+ here in Europe the AI is vanishing with warmer weather , more sunshine and longer days.
This can happen without a obvious reason and taking care perfectly for you’re flock. I had a sudden death for the first time in 8 years. This can happen with humans too. A stroke or hart attack are the most obvious reasons.
I would check for bird mite to be sure that these are not in the coop...

Birds that get this very contagious Av-Flu often show a neurological disorder (shaking head and moving uncontrollable) before they die.
My Cookie had no physical disorder at all the day...
