Aww thanks. It made for a very sad Christmas Day :-( We lost one more on New Years Day, and another one in February but she died from a prolapsed vent. The rest of the fowl pox chickens survived! Chickens are hard to love because so much can go wrong, but I love them soooo much! 😍

Definitely give them more time. I usually look for intact blood vessels if they're not moving as a sign things are still going. Sometimes they are really deep sleepers! :)
We live in an older neighborhood in suburbia outside Sacramento and so not a lot, about 3/4 of an acre, but a big chunk is our pool and landscaping. Someday I plan to have this much or more out in the country where it's all usable and I can build a huge coop and maybe a pond for my duckies! :)
