I am having a problem because of the lighting in the picture but by that age my boy had a darker tail end, just above the tail and the girl a lighter one. I hope that they are both girls if that is what you want but in some of the pictures one looks to have the darker tail end.

Yours actually does look just like a boy with the flatter head. It's hard to describe but it for sure looks like a boy. My girls had a more rounded head but I could not tell the difference at first whenever I would see them. Some are still really hard to tell until you can hear their voices.

The two that I had looked identical until they got their adult feathers and the males backside was dark and the females was light. For sure then I figured out it was a Hen and a Drake which it surely was.

Be careful if you don't know exactly how to vent check them. They claim you can actually kill the duckling if you are inexperienced at it. They sure are Cutie Pies.

Just to be different I will say the one outside the water on the right and the front one are both boys. The one in the water a girl.

By these pictures I say you have a Drake and a Hen. This is what my two looked like and that is what they were.

I would guess that the one with the darker backside is the boy and the lighter backside is the girl. That's how mine turned out. Bill color and feet color stayed the same but then finally my girl quacked. Good luck in determining yours.

The crested one looks like a drake to me. My Drake chatters all of the time and is just not as loud as my females. It has the darker backside like the crested one and the darker brown head. No change in beak yet or other colors. Did get the drake curl at three months.
