So I forgot to update this. Papa's Poultry sent more eggs! I didn't even request it. Turns out the OE eggs weren't the right ones. Thats why I was having a hard time sexing them. He sent me the correct eggs and a few more Cream legbar eggs since only 1 hatched. They are due to hatch on 6/9 So...

I Have Blue/Black/Splash Easter Eggers and I've been wanting a splash from them for 2 years LOL I finally got 1 splash last year and it ended up being a rooster 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 They mostly throw blue with a few black.

The Breeder just got back to me and he thinks it's a pullet so my hopes have been restored 🤣 I'm only slightly bummed now that 1 out of 6 legbars hatched. Then 2 of the olive eggers. So 3 out of 10 shipped eggs.

I breed for egg color and personal flock so if a she will just go in with the layers. I don't breed for showbirds or anything like that....yet 🤣

It is a sad and sometimes expensive gamble. Good thing we love these stinking birds lol Now when I hatch from my own flock I get a great hatch rate! Last year hen I first got the N360 I set 22 eggs thinking I'd get half...21 hatched 🤣🤣🤣

So my first thought is Cockerel and I posted in a few legbar groups and it's actually been a mixed guess some say poor markings pullet otherwise say cockerel 🤣 I guess time will tell. This is the chick in question.

I Did learn more about hatching shipped eggs And I actually had higher hope for this batch since they all looked good at lockdown. These shipped from CA to here in PA! I just wish I could find someone local with them.

Honestly for the amount I pay for eggs with no results I'm at the point of just buying a couple chicks.
