Why is this chick’s tail poofy?
Because it’s still a baby. Chickens take a while to fully feather and fill out. They’re not fully feathered until at least 8 weeks, possibly even longer. And then they’ll look scrawny for a while yet. Until probably a year.- ShrekDawg
