My rooster is showing interest, they are red as cherries, and I sneak down there on tiptoe hoping, praying...NADA. Mine hatch April 4, Any day now....PLEASE. I bought 2 dozen eggs from my niece...probably will lay tomorrow! Mrs K- Mrs. K

She is pinking up, not reddening up. I would expect you are 6 weeks from eggs for her. I have 3 leghorns, April 4 hatched. I too am looking, wishing....hoping, but I keep telling myself - SEPTEMBER, don't look for eggs until then. This is the second longest part about chickens - waiting for the...- Mrs. K
