    My first few were very slow, and I didn't get the lungs out, I think I missed the crop on one of them, and overall they were rather messy. I would think everyone's first ones are the same, so don't get discouraged!

    They're looking good! I feed my dogs raw chicken legs, and haven't noticed any problems with it. Both the dogs still ignore the live chickens, and I certainly haven't seen them eyeing up the legs as they walk past!

    Mostly Light and Coronation Sussex, a few were crossed with RIR. In the moment I've got a few chicks crossed with Orpingtons as well. I start harvesting around 16 weeks, and finish around 22 weeks. If one goes longer then that they can start getting a bit tough. Weights have been between 2 and...

    They sure are growing fast! I've never had CX, just heritage breeds and they are so different. I have been wondering about getting some at some point though.
