Why not keep multiple males? I assume because they will fight, most likely. I guess it depends on # of females and space. And temperament of roosters involved.

My guess is you'd do it like you would any chicken - look but don't touch for a couple of weeks. Keep him confined in an area near your flock. I would think once he feels that these are his ladies, he won't go anywhere.
