Finally all weekend since Thursday the weather got warmer snow melt and I could get them outside they did remarkably well they worked on their pecking order and did great and tonight she decided she was going to bed in coop the other 5 year old hung out with her pushed her up against the wall...- jburts

Update put chickens outside no rain today and snow has melted more. My 5 year old is laying eggs now without anymore problems. She was in the house for 2 weeks to recover now she's been in coop run in kennel for almost 3 weeks now. Put them out today in the yard and finally no extreme fighting...- jburts

Yes I have had chickens for 10 years now but never had to reintroduce my older chickens seems to be more challenging because she wants her pecking order back and its winter so they don't get out all the time. Today if the rain stops then will put her in crate outside then let her out and see...- jburts

Gives me hope one of my hens before Christmas could not walk had to bring her in the house and next day she was doing better and she laid an egg which she had not laid since summer and she is 5 years old, she is all better but could not put her back in they gained up on her so since Christmas...- jburts
