    Tbh if you question your layer feed, just swap to all flock or game bird with oyster shell on the side in full access. There a reason why feed formula takes time to be made and once perfected companies don't deviate from.

    Industrial agricultural does this all the time, either owning their own milling brands or make multi year contracts. This is done to ensure their animal aka the product gets the same nutrients every time instead of risking variables of different milling. Some companies even require hay testing...
