    It takes time for the humidity to drop. When I clean mine, dry them off, then turn them on, the humidity is high like yours. That's because there is still a layer of moisture on the plastic.

    I would take the eggs out & remove all water. While you have the eggs out, can you get pictures of the incubator with the top off?

    Not over 45%. What humidity are you at now? Muscovy eggs will usually change color long before they explode. See below.
