    I don't know if you've only tried beef liver, but other types of liver are often not as bitter tasting. Chicken liver is pretty mild, for example. Or soaking the liver in a bowl of milk overnight before cooking them helps with the bitterness.

    Won't know until you try! 😄 I've heard of people dehydrating liver, grinding it up, and making capsules to swallow. That's just a lot more work.

    Heme iron is most easily absorbed by the body so craving meat like that makes perfect sense. Liver is the best source of it but a lot of people can't handle the flavor.
