    I wouldn’t worry about this. In the west, even though fighting is banned, we still call these breeds ‘game fowl’ (Old English game, Modern Game, American game, Malay game). It doesn’t mean we make them fight, that’s just what they were bred for. Like how pit bulls aren’t used for bull-baiting...

    Have they already met? If the younger one has grown up around the older one, the pecking order is learnt rather than them fighting. Of course, they may get in anyway, but it helps when the younger one has grown up in the presence of the adult.

    Yep, certainly a boy. You can tell by the long, pointy hackle (neck) and saddle (back) feathers, and the fact that the saddles and shoulders are gold. Also that tail is quite long. Breed wise I’d assume he’s just a mutt, though I can see the game bird resemblance.
