    Dawg’s Gardening Thread!!!

I've been having problems with my blood sugar. Apparently eating cherry tomatoes while watering the garden isn't as good for me as I thought. I looked it up and the ones I grow have 5 carbs each. So munching on 10 or more is gonna kill me. They are so tasty. Back to munching green beans I guess.

I'm getting way too many tomatoes too now. I can't eat too many because they are big in carbs, and bad on my blood sugars. :hmm I think next year I will finally listen to myself and only plant 2-4 plants. Currently have 6 which is too many for our uses. Needed more cucumbers, and green beans...

I usually used the granulated if I'm gonna use any fertilizer. I haven't had any troubles with those types except for dogs wanting to eat some of them that contain blood or bone meal.

It was back when they had the thing you filled with miracle grow and than hook a hose on. It was supposed to mix it at a correct amount. It burned the leaves off a bunch of plants and I never used that thing again.

    Dawg’s Gardening Thread!!!

When I was a young gardener I killed a bunch of plants with miracle grow. Apparently more isn't always better. I haven't used it in my vegetable garden. Curious if it will help.

Moral of that story is to always check under every leaf daily for your vegetables, or else you will overrun with cabbage patch kids, or any similar vermin. :gig
