What about using the heating pad over a tunnel method? Would that work well enough that I don't need a heat lamp? Heat lamps scare the boogers outta me.- OzarkEgghead

I just placed my order with Cackle Hatchery & I noticed one of the things they make you agree to is to use a heat LAMP for at least the 1st 2 weeks. They say that mail order chicks need more heat than a heat PLATE can provide & that's why a lamp should be used instead. Is this true? Will a heat...- OzarkEgghead
