UPDATE: My poor little chick did not end up making it. She never was able to walk or even stand. She did open her eyes occasionally but mostly laid on her side. I have since had another hatch which seems healthy and is in the brooder with its 3 siblings. Did I mess up by “ helping” the chick?

I have it in the incubator still so you are suggesting taking it out of there putting it in something with the paper towel for about how long? And then putting it in the brooder? Then in the morning try to get the gunk off? I’m just concerned about getting to some resolve before I need to go to...

It seems to not be drying well and is sticky… should I put in warm water to try to get the stickiness off or no since it has the navel issue?

This does not look right to me…

I helped it out, there was some shell really stuck over its back so I just put it back in with that hoping it will dry/ come off on it’s own now. Do you think this happened from the hatched chicks rolling the eggs all around?

Can anyone help with suggestions? I read another post and tried dabbing near beak with qtip but now lots of brownish liquid leaking out of egg

This is my 4th chick to hatch today all previous with no issues. This one has liquid bubbles around beak I’m afraid it’s aspirating not sure what to do
