Yeti(silkie) is hatching eggs, she has one of her own and last I checked (the yolk) it appeared fertile. It’s either my Swedish flower cockerels (he just started this month) or Fog (brahma) finally succeeded. Won’t know till hatch!

Her eggs are still not fertile- he keeps trying but none of her eggs are fertile she just walks away and he falls off :confused: I’m aiming for one of my younger roos now. Either Swedish flower (should start breeding this month) and a naked neck (won’t mature for quite awhile… three months...

She does have the five yes! I got her from a silkie breeder so she should be pure. and let me tell you she is one tough little girl… both mom and dad are black and white so that sounds about right! Agh I love fluffy chickens! Big fluffy chickens sound so amazing

I’ve looked into the breed, such as the posts on the Giant silkie projects on here. They seem to just be bigger silkies with more full feathers

I noticed my light Brahma rooster was breeding my paint silkie. I was wondering if anyone has any silkie x Brahmas? I would like to see how those adorable little guys will turn out! Here are the two soon to be parents. I was worried about the size difference but they seem to be working out...
