Not the best pictures but here they are! Both unsteady on legs and hock walking. Perhaps some curving on feet too. Picked up some Brewers yeast for their food and may need to tape for splay. I think I may have a black Swiss and blue Swiss but I’m really not sure!

Thank you for replying! No bruise and no safety hole made. Noticed pip at 9pm last night so I’m glad it seems I can safely wait. I’m not sure if she broke through the membrane much but lots of wiggling so I’m wondering if she may be repositioning on her own.

I want to try but the free range fenced are is mixed with the chickens and the ducks are new to me. I might give it a try and feel it out while I’m off work. See how it goes and judge from there.

Looks like I’ve got an early one. External pip on the wrong end and my other has a lot of shadowing. I’m working tomorrow then off for 5 days so I’m hoping they slow down and wait for me! Hatch date was scheduled for the 30th

Any idea how far along they might be? One of my eggs looks further along than the other when I candled today. Some minor shadowing which seemed quite early. Air cells seem to be sloped well and on track. I sure wish I had broodies to manage things for me! Someday :)

Yes they are ❤️ Thank you! I was so pleased to find them and just 15 minutes from me. They are a year old and just finished a molt. They were happy girls with their new space. Now just need my 2 eggs to hatch.

Candled today as I forgot to when I got the eggs and one has a major crack and will have to be tossed :( another has a free floating yolk so I’m guessing no good and other smaller egg looks clear but I’ll keep my hopes up on that one since it’s only day 2. Probably should have picked up more...

That was my only thing about them with water freezing in winter but saw the heated water bowl option and was like yup I’m getting them lol
