I've heard good things about it. I'm a solidworks purist, but I admit I'm having trouble with getting good visual models out of it that are based on aesthetics and not geometrical requirements. Hence my dabblings with Blender.
Macaw in watercolor and ink pen on 80 lb watercolor paper. This was done as a study for a larger piece, but I ended up liking this one better than the final product.
Graphite pencil on medium weight drawing paper. Subject is a jay sitting on a stump. I wanted to play with contrast in this piece and explore a more abstract background instead of fully detailing each area.
It would put a more restrictive limit on the timeframe of these creations, but perhaps requiring WIP screenshots of the native CAD file as it's being developed? At least in SOLIDWORKS it's readily evident whether it's truly in progress or just rolled back. That would also help with authenticity...
