Why is my baby chicks down on its crop area gone?

No, I don't have others. And, yes, tomorrow we will try to get our hands on some chick feed. We got the chick as an egg, and only 3 out of the dozen hatched. 1 died because it was the runt and its feet were balled up, which made it impossible for it to walk. Other one, a bird got it.

Why is my baby chicks down on its crop area gone?

Could it be that it got its chest wet from the watermelon, then just ate a lot and pigged out? Like, maybe it stretched its crop out after eating the watermelon. Then the down stuck together and made it look like it was balding. Cause today, it looks lots better after night.

Why is my baby chicks down on its crop area gone?

I know... But, I can't do anything right now. I don't have my driving license yet, my mom is out, my dad has a broken shoulder so he can't drive and my brother is still learning how to drive. I also don't know my way around the neighborhood, so if I went out alone, I would probably get lost...

No. We don't really know where to get the feed, so we've been feeding it "Hulled millet."
