soooo…. Funny story.. weee ended up giving it away to someone else, but we are going to attempt hatching sometime later this year. Now its living with a bunch of quails :)
No, I don't have others. And, yes, tomorrow we will try to get our hands on some chick feed. We got the chick as an egg, and only 3 out of the dozen hatched. 1 died because it was the runt and its feet were balled up, which made it impossible for it to walk. Other one, a bird got it.
Could it be that it got its chest wet from the watermelon, then just ate a lot and pigged out? Like, maybe it stretched its crop out after eating the watermelon. Then the down stuck together and made it look like it was balding. Cause today, it looks lots better after night.
I know... But, I can't do anything right now. I don't have my driving license yet, my mom is out, my dad has a broken shoulder so he can't drive and my brother is still learning how to drive. I also don't know my way around the neighborhood, so if I went out alone, I would probably get lost...
Hi. I have a baby chick about 4 weeks old. 28 days to be exact. She/he either plucked it down or it just fell off from the front part of its crop. Is this normal?
