Also be careful with birds around burning teflon, very hazardous to birds!

hi there, be sure to leave adequate ventilation at the top of your coop, chickens create a lot of ammonia! I'd suggest you use hardware cloth instead of chicken wire, snakes, opossum and raccoons can all reach into or get into your coop! Good luck with your new adventure...
