I have regular size chickens, bantams and quail. The quail are in my aviary with my finches and they keep the bottom of the aviary cleaned up of bird seed. They get along just fine also.

They definitely will go after chicks, hens or birds and that is why we have to keep them in wire runs and not let them free range without protection.
