    I am happy to hear that you are doing well! It can be tricky to tell if a rooster is going to do well with your flock. Sometimes they do not do well for you but do well with a different flock.

    It sounds like you have had quite a time with the rats! I have seen plans for building a planter that allowed the chickens to peck at the plants but now get to the roots easily. You can use any plants with this setup.

    I am happy to read that you still have bobwhite quail! I had coturnix quail for a couple of years. I hope to get back into them at some point.

    It sounds like quite a bit or fun times at your place! Peacocks, ducks, silkie chickens and getting rare and endangered breeds sounds like a dream for many. If I move to a place out of the City, I would love getting some Ducks.

    Fisher's sound like bad news! Do you live close to a creek, river or lake? The further away your are the safer you will be from them.

    It sounds like you are going to have a nice new setup this summer! We do not have to worry about hurricane season here, but heat is a problem and smoke from wild fires.
