    This doesn't sound like a deficiency to me, more like something toxic (as you suspected with the hen) either ingested or in their environment. Have you tried looking up the symptoms on the vet manual? see e.g. https://www.msdvetmanual.com/searchresults?query=ataxia%20poultry
