    It is kind of similar but not. More adjustments to make and really more experience to use without backlashing. I just do a lot of bass fishing and fish more power bass fishing than finesse. And, once you get good with one you are hooked (pun intended)

    Spinning reels are used more for finesse fishing ie light lures and weight. Baitcast is used more for power fishing
