    By “within the walls”, I meant inside the walled area of the run - inside the run and pen, as you wrote. I agree that burrowing squirrels are on a whole different nuisance level of what most of the rest of us have to deal with! I hope all this shakes out well for you! That’s a lot to work around.

    16 cubic feet?! Whew, that’s a LOT. I have to admit, I’d find someone with a Bobcat. Since you’re not in a rural area, maybe start your search with an independent landscaper (as contrasted with a lawn maintenance company.)
