Any color snake can have a bad attitude when not handled constantly. keep in mind snakes are wild animals and learn to tolerate our handling of them. Some seem to enjoy it more than others. Also keep in mind that snakes are the only animals that can be set free and will revert imediately back...- gypsy2621

You can handle a gravid snake as long as you are gentle about it. it normally wont hurt them at all.- gypsy2621
