    Nebraskans Speak Up!!! NEBRASKA ROCKS!!

Roosters are usually far more survival ready than hens, which some days I swear take 24 hens to complete one brain.

OF COURSE it will work! If I was closer, I'd come over with my chicken stick and snag him for you, but you'll do fine. Could also bait him with mealworms. Feed him a few, and toss them closer and closer to the crate. Then toss some in while he's in an excited frenzy of snack food. Slam the...

Lincoln - Capitol area Humane society - if they don't directly accept, they DO have a partner group that does, as I have seen barnyard critters on their page, sometimes horses, pigs, chickens etc At least you could call them and see if they can point you to a group or a more local resource...

SHelter belts are an interesting science. Their usefulness is based on their height, and the wind speed. That is what determines their effectiveness in the dump zone. Their golden years only last a couple and then they're too tall to work right or hit and age where they up and die and you have...

No problems what-so-ever. Happy as fat hens. They do this every year, deal with extended ultra cold. We just make sure they have warm water, lots of high protein feed, no drafts, proper perches at night, and entertainment to keep them moving during the day with deep litter to keep their feet...

I know. Not pigs, but MINI pigs. TBF chickens are farm animals too. I have no idea where they get their ideas from. My sister's place can't even have chickens. The city cites possible smells. MEANWHILE, the guy with an overgrown backyard, 4 LARGE dogs, and no waste removal is ok.

Hey Lincoln area locals. I have a greenhouse busting with tomatoes. $2 no matter the size 4 cell, 6 cell, or larger singles, hearty, deep rooted, greenhouse grown but allowed to match outdoor temps at night, so they've been down to 35 and up to 110. Have a fan on the 24 hours a day, so sturdy...
