I think your all missing my point here. It is not whether you should keep chickens illegally but the fact that you may have been keeping chickens legally and now you aren't, so I guess you think people should just give up their pets now? I found the Maryland group where I should have posted it...- Wanda

ok, but my point is, chickens that at one time were legal aren't now. I know in this case from reading the first article these people don't have the footage from the boundaries that were always a requirement so technically their hens were never legal. I just think it is ridiculous that in a...- Wanda

Can't find the Maryland thread so thought I would post this here. This makes me mad, seems like they recently changed the law in Jan. 08 for the 40,000 sq ft needed to have chickens at all. I just read an article last week where people in Ann Arbor,MI are now allowed to have 4 backyard hens...- Wanda
