Thanks. she was a rhode island red and about a year old. I've started watering the run in the morning to try a keep it cool during the day and even more shade.
Short of that not sure what more I can do.
Sadly lost a hen today-no real reason i can think of. She laid today and when I went to put them to bed she was face down in the run.
It makes me sad but can't believe it was the heat. Plenty of water and shade and no signs of illness.

I got one of HBuehler's barred today and she is a sweety. The ladies seem to not be that upset and all is well.
After seeing her set up I wish I had more room.
I'm very jealous of how great her dogs are around them as well.

supposedly Ameraucanas, but all I know is they lay pale green eggs.
